PDI Software is Hiring a Global Product Manager Near Dallas, TX
- BA/BS required, preference for engineering/technical degree or strong demonstration of technical competency
- 6 or more years of experience with a combination engineering and product management/product marketing in a technical environment
- Proven experience and knowledge about the US POS space, specifically in the retail fuel & convenience sector
- MBA preferred
- Ability to travel 20-35% of time.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps
- Maintain the tactical product roadmap
- Own product definition and development process, including:
- Articulating clear and accurate market and product requirements
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Developing strong and compelling business cases to support requirements
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure ideation and concept activities are focused on the most compelling business and consumer problems in fuel and convenience retail.
- Enumerate key product benefits, differentiation, and positioning. Clearly communicate these to regional marketing/sales teams and to end customers.
- Contribute and develop documentation for new software features including user interface mockups, process and data flow diagrams, and working with Product Owners in developing user stories
- May manage Product Owners, providing coaching and training, and performance management
- Perform work with a high degree of autonomy; may include some evenings and weekends when necessary; some travel may be required for customer visits and industry events.
